COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
We work with our older youths to find job or volunteer opportunities in fields that interests them.
Volunteer opportunities (14 to 17 years)
Strive works with young people with Autism and/or disabilities in finding volunteer opportunities in their communities as a way to empower and encourage them to be the best they can with little or minimal supervisions from staff as we work to create independence in the young people we service.
Work opportunities (15 to 17 years)
We create opportunities for our young people to participate in work training opportunities, computer training skills, and resume building. We encourage our young people living with Autism and/or other disabilities who have interest in work related activities by helping them find those opportunities and support them through their journey.
